The Village Christian Church | Minooka, IL
The Village Christian Church launched with 160 people in 2005. They met in a school cafeteria for two years and grew to 180. In 2007 The Village shifted into the school’s gymnasium where they stayed for four years and instantly began holding two worship services. As they saw growth in their new venue, over time, they begin running out of space which prompted them to move, yet again, to a larger space where The Village would grow to 450. However, this church was not done growing and they soon began to feel the need for a permanent location.
In 2015 The Village began working with The Solomon Foundation in efforts to build a church facility that would put an end to their moving and provide a building with plenty of space to grow. In June of 2016, The Village Christian Church closed on their new property where they now reach 800 people on a Sunday morning. The Village has seen many people come to Christ and be baptized since they began and have future plans to reach even more in the years to come!
