Vice President and Relationship Manager

Russell Johnson is the Vice President and Relationship Manager at The Solomon Foundation. He comes from a great heritage of multi-generational leaders involved in the Restoration Movement throughout the Mid-West and Southeast Asia. Russell has served in many fruitful capacities over the years. He began his ministry serving in Mt Carmel, KY and onto Lexington, KY as an Associate Pastor at Southern Acres Christian Church. He later became Dean of Student Services and also held a seat on the Board of Trustees at Kentucky Christian University (KCU). His efforts there helped launch Summer In The Son, a ministry that for over 30 years has impacted 1,000’s of teens.

Russell was the Senior Pastor at Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster, Ohio for over 20 years and led this church from 400 to 2,500 in attendance. He also served as Chairman of the Board at Fairfield Christian Academy for ten years. In most recent years, Russell acted as Director of Leadership Development for the International Conference on Missions (ICOM). While at ICOM, he helped launch Restoration Revolution, an effort to encourage Christian Churches, Colleges & Universities across the globe to raise up 1,000 leaders a year.

Russell joined TSF more than eight years ago and has been excited to share in the miraculous journey of The Solomon Foundation in his role as Regional Vice President for the Midwest and Eastern United States. Being able to follow up on church leaders he has known, loved, and worked with for more than 35 years is tremendously gratifying and encouraging. Today, he enjoys the mission of preaching, teaching, and developing relationships with key investors and churches as they take the next step in making an eternal impact on their communities. He’s convinced that The Solomon Foundation’s best years of engaging the harvest of changed lives are yet to come.

Russell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with a Bible Major, and a History, Greek and Psychology minors from the Kentucky Christian University.

Russell is married to Babs, his wife of more than 40 years. They have 2 adult children, Justin and Whitney who have blessed them with grandchildren they enjoy to the fullest.
